Going to the Derm
I know this is a site for inner beauty and getting fit, but I thought I would throw this out there. I went to a Dermatologist for dry skin on my face. This weather is making my skin red and painful. I have mild Psoriasis. Treated it with some meds and it is doing better. He recommended Neutorgena for face washes and moisturizers. He also gave me samples and said he liked these moisturizes: Purpose, CerVe, and Eucerin. I am trying Purpose on my face right now and it seems to being doing a good job. My face doesn't feel like it is goingt o break. He also likes Clinque products. I asked him about eye creams (why not , let's get my monies worth out of this visit) he said your eyes definitely need a moisturizer but none have clinical shown to do better than another one. So just use one. Also I asked about microdermabrasion, and he stated he thought they did a great job for 2/3 of the people. 1/3 they just irritated the face. He mentioned Loreal and Neutrogena brands. Hope this was informational.

Everyone should go to the dermatologist in general - we all spend a fair amount of time outside and it is scary how easily skin cancer can develop. It is really easy to catch and treat early on, though. Just my two cents on taking care of your whole self . . .
